Sometimes being with a bad partner can make your life a daily hell. With that kind of partner, you would almost never have a good relationship because they would do so many bad things that would make the relationship terrible.
Some traits are things that a good partner wouldn’t bring to a relationship, but a bad partner would bring them without thinking twice. These are some signs that your partner is not good for you.
This is the very first sign. If your partner is always telling lies and doing dishonest things, then they are not a good partner. Being honest isn’t important to a bad partner, so they don’t care as much about it.
2. THEY DON’T PUT EFFORT INTO THE RELATIONSHIP.
It can be very hard to try to make a relationship work when you’re the only one trying. Such a relationship would never work. When one partner is bad, they put all the stress of the relationship on the other and act like they’re not in a relationship.
3. A bad partner will compare you to other people.
It’s not okay to compare people in a relationship, but a bad partner would find reasons to do it with everyone they know, from ex-partners to friends’ partners and even strangers. When someone acts like that, it’s bad for the bond.
4. A bad partner makes you apologise even when they are wrong.
It’s not fair or good for many relationships for this to happen so often. A good partner would own up to their mistake, but a bad partner would put the blame on someone else.
5. DOESN’T CARE ABOUT YOUR HAPPINESS
In a relationship, it’s important that both people are happy. If both people in the relationship are happy, it will work better. But if one person is unhappy, they won’t care about the other person’s happiness.
6. THEY KEEP REMINDING YOU OF YOUR MISTAKES
The person in question doesn’t forget or forgive. Also, this kind of a partner wouldn’t admit when they were wrong.
7. Being selfish
A selfish partner doesn’t think about the other person very often—they only think about themselves. They only care about what other people think and make the connection all about them.
8. THEY ARE MANIPULATIVE
Bad partners are controlling, mentally abusive, and manipulative, which means they only want what’s best for themselves.
9. THEY DON’T COMMUNICATE
They don’t talk to each other or try to understand each other. Most problems in a relationship could be solved quickly if both people could talk to each other, but a bad partner wouldn’t care.
A good partner is necessary for a relationship to work. You can’t have a bad partner and expect the relationship to work.
