Kathy Bates sparkled like a light at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on September 15, wearing a dark sequin gown.
People are concerned about her Emmy Award appearance since she recently admitted to having lost 100 pounds.
In addition to the eye-catching gown, which included glittering beads woven into the fabric, the “Fried Green Tomatoes” singer donned black-patterned closed-toe shoes and a stunning black handbag with floral themes.
She wore little jewellery, including dangling earrings and a stunning ruby ring on her right hand. Bates combed her salt-and-pepper coloured hair away from her face and pulled it into a low bun.
Co-star Skye P. Marshall, who will appear with Bates in an upcoming episode of “Matlock,” joined Bates on the carpet to smile for the photographers.
When social media users viewed online photographs of Bates at this year’s TV awards presentation, presented by famed father and son Eugene and Dan Levy, they were taken aback by how different she appeared after losing weight.
“She’s too skinny,” someone said regarding Bates’ Emmy presentation. Another said, “Great actress, but I think Ozempic has aged her.”
While one person praised the actress’s appearance, they added, “But I wouldn’t have recognised her at all.” “Why did she lose so much weight?” one person enquired. Someone another said, “She does not appear to be in good health.”
